Board Briefs 2/8/22

Dear Residents,

Please see below for the latest board brief.

• We are pleased to announce that over 250 members have paid their annual assessment in full!

• The Strategic Planning Committee is still looking for residents to volunteer for the one-hour focus group sessions. The committee aims to gather feedback that represents the sentiments of all residents we have living here. Two groups that are underrepresented right now are full-time residents with children and part-time residents. So, please consider volunteering an hour of your time to help develop a roadmap for the future of our beautiful community.

• The Rules and Regulations Committee will have its first meeting next week to begin the annual review of this document.

• Several new homes are advertised to be built here in our community on vacant lots. The Design and Review Committee is meeting with an architect and management to update construction documents and fees.

• A resident met with our new attorney to provide first-hand background information on the road repairs done by Burke Asphalt in 2020. We are very grateful for this volunteer assistance.

• We are meeting with our new attorney this month to discuss several outstanding legal issues and will update the community with any pertinent developments.

• New Compliance Officer Amy Sunbury will be developing regular reports for the community. We are still looking to fill the open position for a second officer.

• We approved a new fitness center policy and waiver as our fitness center will be opening later this month.
