November 2nd, 2022

Dear Residents,

We want to thank those of you who took the time to let your voice be heard by voting on the proposed amendments to our CCRs. We started with 274 eligible voters and found that 7 of those members had recently passed away or moved. As of today, we were short of the minimum goal of 210 votes by 14 votes. The board has decided to extend the voting opportunity through November 30th in an effort to reach as many members as possible. In addition, we are offering the balance of our members the opportunity to bring their accounts current no later than November 9th in order to participate in voting on the proposed amendments. We have heard from several members that had a small balance of less than $100 that felt excluded from the opportunity to vote. While this will raise the total number of votes needed for any one amendment to pass, it will most importantly let more of the community participate. Once again, if you have not yet voted and your account has a zero balance or credit on November 9th, you will be eligible to vote up until November 30th.

If you are current or become current by the 9th, please email me at scotta.matthews@fsresidential.com and I will send you the Election Buddy link so you can vote on the amendments. We also have paper ballots in the office that can be filled out and returned to the office. If you have any questions about certain sections or don’t understand the amendment, please reach out to me and I will get you in touch with your block captain so they can help guide you and explain each section of the ballot to you. Please do not hesitate to ask for help as we have many avenues to make sure this is as easy as possible for you. I look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

Scott Matthews Jr.
