Dear Residents,

Please see below for the July 2022 President’s report.

President’s Report July 2022
Summertime in our community is full of life. We want everyone to enjoy their time here, safely and responsibly, while keeping in mind that we are living in the woods. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM. Please remember that no construction activity is permitted on weekends during the summer. When barbequing, please keep your grill a safe distance away from any flammable materials and always cover your fire pit. Please observe the maximum speed limit on all our roads is 25 MPH. These small things make a big difference in keeping our community harmonious and thriving.
Our annual membership meeting and board election will take place next month on August 6th at 10 AM in the gathering room of the clubhouse. This meeting is an opportunity for all members in good standing to participate in the democratic processes of our association and let your voice be heard. In addition to the Board of Directors election, there will be community updates and a members forum. Coffee and light refreshments will be served. Visit the art display and committee tables after the meeting. We strongly encourage every eligible member to attend.
I would like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of all our volunteers, including my fellow board members. Special thanks to Shawn and Kristen Martin for donating new outdoor speakers to the community as well as for the fantastic job Shawn did painting and repairing our snack shack! In addition, we appreciate the Hoover and Strang family for their refrigerator donation, and the anonymous member donation of the new 20 ft. outdoor screen and projector. Our events committee has gone above and beyond in their efforts to provide enjoyable activities for the whole community and I would like to acknowledge their outstanding efforts as well.
Lastly, we have a new neighbor! The former Mt. Laurel Performing Arts Center is now known as Poconos Park and under new ownership. The new team has been hard at work making needed repairs to the center and hope to host their first event in September. I am sure many of you share my sentiment that this new venture is successful and provides a boost for our local area.
I continue to be inspired by the progress we have made here and witnessing the magic that happens when we come together. Let’s keep the momentum going. Enjoy this beautiful community, meet your neighbors at our fun events, and continue to make a difference wherever you can.

Sincerely,

Marissa Johnson

Assistant Community Manager
