Dear Residents,
“Everyone who lives here in Tamiment is surrounded by nature’s endless beauty. Living so close to nature is an inspirational experience. Our forest environment has been here long before people and movies like Jurassic Park serve as a window to life in this Pocono forest during ancient times. This month, Amblin movie company has released its 6th JURASSIC PARK film in its billion dollar blockbuster franchise.
In honor of Amblin’s 26 year-long Jurassic Park movie franchise, The Glen is holding a Tamiment art contest to see who can create the best original artwork, with a focus on detail concerning dinosaurs in their natural setting. This August we will discover the best artist in Tamiment.
Just choose your favorite dinosaur from any of the 6 Jurassic Park films, then use your imagination and skill to create an original scene using paint, colored pencils, even computer art. All artwork, submitted to Marissa will be placed on display on our clubhouse walls for a month. The grand prize is $40, and second place is $20. All ages are invited to participate so give it your best try. Good Luck!”
