Dear Neighbors,
One of our Glen families suffered the devastating loss of their home in our community due to a fire last night. Thankfully, all family members and pets were able to evacuate and are physically unharmed. However, their house is uninhabitable and all their belongings were destroyed. Many of you have reached out asking if there is anything you can do to assist the family. While local services and insurance companies will provide the bulk of assistance to this family, they do still have short-term urgent needs.
With their permission, we are providing the following list of items the family could use. All items can be dropped off in the box that will be located at the clubhouse lobby. Gift cards for Walmart or Amazon are always helpful and can be given to our office staff for delivery to the family.
- Little Boys (age 4) clothes size child 6-7 and shoe size 12
- Girls (age 12) clothes size young adult S/M and shoe size adult 9
- Young Mens (age 12) clothes size 36 waist and large shirts shoe size 12
- Men’s XL shirt, 38 waist pants, shoe size 12
- Women’s shirt size M, pant 10/12, shoe size 9
- Dog food Premier One and Purina Moist Meaty Chopped Burger
- Toiletries for both children and adults
I’m grateful to see the outpouring of kindness and support shown to this family by our community. Coming together in times of need to help one another is what community is all about. It truly makes me proud to call The Glen at Tamiment our home. Thank you all.
