Community Skywatch: Let’s Get Dark
Join us under dark skies at Tamiment Lake for a night out and watch the Perseid meteor shower! Security will open Lake gates at 10 PM on Wednesday, August 11th, weather permitting, for night sky viewing. Bring your chair, blanket, bug spray, and whatever else you need to be comfortable, then settle in and watch Mother Nature light up the sky above. If you have a telescope or camera, feel free to bring it along, but please do not bring anything else that would cause noise or light pollution.
