Community Update
We are holding a critical Special Membership Meeting this Saturday at 10 AM via Zoom and in person at the clubhouse. Topics discussed at this meeting are limited to the draft budget for 2023 and the governing documents amendment initiative. The link to register to attend the meeting via Zoom is attached below. Documents related to this meeting will be sent out in separate emails for your review prior to the meeting.
Since this meeting is limited to discussion of the above topics, there are updates on a few other items I would like to pass along that affect portions of this community. The house that caught fire this past spring is a total loss and has not begun rebuilding yet, as required by our declaration. Since the deadline for the start of construction has passed, we have now turned this matter over to both the township and our attorney. The other matter is the replacement mailboxes. The insurance company responded with a settlement offer of less than 30 percent of the total estimate to replace. This is unacceptable and taking way too long to resolve. Accordingly, we have turned this matter over to our attorney and we anticipate a swift response. I will provide the community with further updates as I receive them on these items.
